This is our Third project using Kitchen Encounters. Two bathrooms and a kitchen remodel and they were all very involved. The Kitchen was a complete gut and remodel and from the moment we started with Dave mind-melding with us to really “get” the kitchen we wanted, to the Excellent subcontractors you don’t have to worry about, to Phil & Wellie’s attention to finishing detail the project went great. Dave provides great design expertise and a very professional schedule and the ability to deal with changes that always occur with remodeling. We can’t recommend Kitchen Encounters enough. The comments and jaw dropping looks we get about our kitchen and bathrooms says it all.
This is the second project we have done with Kitchen Encounters. And again, it has gone exceptionally well!! The project included a major upgrade of the master bath and laundry room, updating the kitchen and tiling a hallway. Everything looks perfect! The tile work is impeccable. Countertops are beautiful. And the cabinets look perfect. Even the “little things” like the shower heads and faucets look amazing in all the spaces. They kept in contact with us daily, and addressed any questions promptly. And again, done on time and on budget.
We love our new kitchen and flooring designed and installed by Kitchen Encounters. Very easy to work with and communicated daily with us during the construction.
This is by far the absolute best contractor we have ever had in our home. We were provided with a schedule beforehand of what to expect daily. All of the workers were courteous and very helpful. We are thrilled with our renovation. The work is first rate and looks beautiful. We are already considering another renovation in our bathroom with them. Do not hesitate to hire them……they are great. Dave and Danelle do an excellent job.
We LOVE, LOVE.LOVE our kitchen which was remodeled by Kitchen Encounters. From the very beginning I appreciated how Dave listened to every detail and change that we wanted to make. At times he offered additional suggestions and considerations but never pressured us to make changes we did not want. We also had a variety of product options to choose from. When an obstacle presented itself, he and his team were very creative to “think outside the box” and still end up with the outcome we wanted. The personal attention to detail both in terms of the process of the remodeling as well as the final product outcome was phenomenal! His wife would touch base with us every day to answer any questions or concerns and let us know what to expect the following day. I strongly recommend Kitchen Encounters to anyone thinking of remodeling their kitchen or bath!
As a Facilities Manager, managing projects is part of the job. It was not easy to turn this job over to someone else for my own home. It was a wise decision with no regrets. Dave and Danelle did an outstanding job, with a special emphasis on communication. We knew what to expect at every step, and every concern was handled quickly without question. Dave’s guidance in selecting finishes, while allowing us to find our vision was greatly appreciated. We had our kitchen remodeled and couldn’t be happier! Dave listened to what we wanted and came up with a beautiful design. I loved the daily call from Danelle to let us know who was coming that day, what was being done and answer any questions or concerns we had. The workers were on time, very friendly and cleaned up at the end of every day. We will have them do our next project and would highly recommend them!!!

They turned a kitchen into a beautiful, practical living space. Kitchen Encounters did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, and exceeded all our expectations.
Both my wife and I have prior experience with other builders and remodeling projects, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with Kitchen Encounters. Ours was a fairly large project involving the kitchen, family room and hardwood floor replacement, and required six weeks. The company gave us an accurate schedule and they met all their dates. We were impressed with the quality of all the employees and the subcontractors, who all work together frequently and communicate with each other as a team. The single most outstanding feature of this job was that KE left the site swept and trash-free every day, even our garage which was their workshop. No dumpster in the driveway, which was pretty unusual. The kitchen matched the renderings exactly, but the showpiece of the project was the fireplace in our den, which now looks like a drystacked fieldstone wall. Their mason is a superb example of the resources they have available. Dave and Danelle were easy to reach and open to our questions or concerns. Several of the typical gotchas occurred on the project (a late delivery, an incorrect cabinet size) but they took this in stride and absorbed any glitches into the schedule. You can tell this is a well-planned and experienced company. We are proud to have Kitchen Encounters as an outstanding local business!
