From our first interaction with Dave, to our daily updates with Eden to the quality and personability of every crew, we have been beyond impressed. Dave and Eden worked with us to come up with a design that met our needs and budget. As we added things on, they exceeded expectations and very importantly with all the add ons still finished on the date promised. Kitchen Encounters did both a kitchen and a bathroom remodel for us. First, their design work was amazing. Miraculously, the kitchen has more counter space and more cabinet space while appearing to be larger and more open. It's also more functional and brighter. The house presented numerous challenges which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Everyone who came to the house was friendly and professional. Kitchen Encounters performed a remodel of a bathroom and finished out our basement. We had a great experience with them! Our project was very complicated for various reasons including using a stone mason for the basement walls. Dave and Eden were always calm and ready with solutions. They provided a schedule for our three-month-long project and stayed on that schedule, along with providing me with a phone call each morning with a rundown of who was going to be in the house that day. All of the contractors were respectful of my home and my family. The project looks beautiful and we are so glad we did it and so glad that we used Kitchen Encounters!

From the start of the project till completion this family ran business was a pleasure to work with and the finish product is just wonderful. David White met with my wife and I to design our dream Kitchen. It was no easy task as A wall had to be removed to expand the former kitchen size. Dave gathered our ideas and also gave suggestions and then drew up the plan. We were provided a detailed quote depicting Material and labor. Once we signed the quote we were scheduled in and given detailed dates of work to be performed. To my astonishment they hit every single scheduled date! We were contacted every morning to check on how we were doing and to review that days schedule and to see if we had any questions. An assigned program manager checked on the job from time to time and met with us if we had any questions. The installers were very professional and courteous and made sure the job site was cleaned up everyday. We honestly couldn’t be any happier with the finished product. I am happy to give Kitchen Encounters a 5 star review! They completely remodeled our kitchen. With such a big project, I was sure we would run into a few bumps - but I was wrong. The entire project and every communication was detailed, timely, and organized. I was impressed with every single employee and the work that was done - a lot of talent at Kitchen Encounters! It can be scary going into such a large project with a company you aren't that familiar but I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with Kitchen Encounters. Great experience with Dave and Eden and the entire crew who helped us renovate our home. Full renovation/design including new kitchen, new laundry room, new bathroom, and basically a full first floor renovation. Kitchen Encounters did a full remodel on our kitchen and 2 bathrooms - including the removal of a structural wall. We were completely satisfied with the full process - and the results. They were great to work with from the design through the renovation. Dave listened to us during the planning and came back with layouts that only required minor changes. During the actual construction Danelle kept us up-to-date on all the different contractors coming to our house (which was critical, since I work from home). Eden was always available by phone or on-site to answer any questions we had. Most importantly, the job came in ON BUDGET. No surprises or unnecessary change orders and we now have a kitchen (and 2 baths) we love.

Kitchen Encounters did a fantastic job remodeling both of our bathrooms. Front start to finish everything was done beautifully. Someone from the company checked in with us every morning to be sure all was going well and to double check the schedule. Every single sub contractor that came into our house was very professional and worked diligently and thoroughly. These subcontractors were true artisans, especially Dan the tile man. His work is awesome. Any questions or concerns that came up were dealt with immediately, efficiently and to the highest of standards. I must also add that they kept to the set schedule, which can be difficult in these times of supply chain issues. I cannot say enough good things about this company. We are thrilled with the final product and were very pleased that the whole process was painless.

We had Kitchen. Encounters redo our kitchen last year and recently replaced our downstairs carpets with hardwood and vinyl tile in the kitchen. Once we decided to remodel our kitchen, I met with Dave at Kitchen Encounters to go over the process. Both my wife and I have prior experience with other builders and remodeling projects, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with Kitchen Encounters. Ours was a fairly large project involving the kitchen, family room and hardwood floor replacement, and required six weeks. The company gave us an accurate schedule and they met all their dates. We were impressed with the quality of all the employees and the subcontractors, who all work together frequently and communicate with each other as a team. The single most outstanding feature of this job was that KE left the site swept and trash-free every day, even our garage which was their workshop. No dumpster in the driveway, which was pretty unusual. The kitchen matched the renderings exactly, but the showpiece of the project was the fireplace in our den, which now looks like a drystacked fieldstone wall. Their mason is a superb example of the resources they have available. Dave and Danelle were easy to reach and open to our questions or concerns. Several of the typical gotchas occurred on the project (a late delivery, an incorrect cabinet size) but they took this in stride and absorbed any glitches into the schedule. You can tell this is a well-planned and experienced company. We are proud to have Kitchen Encounters as an outstanding local business!

As a Facilities Manager, managing projects is part of the job. It was not easy to turn this job over to someone else for my own home. It was a wise decision with no regrets. Our project existed of renovating the downstairs of our house including the kitchen along with replacing our carpeting with hardwood flooring throughout the other three rooms downstairs. In addition we renovated one bathroom upstairs. From the design phase through construction we found Kitchen Encounters very easy to work with delivering a high quality of workmanship and on schedule. Dave White had many great ideas to offer in the planning stage and his people all did a great job during the project. Phil White also a very skilled craftsman along with the team that put in the hardwood flooring. Prompt followup on any questions and issues(very minor) during the process. This is the second project we have done with Kitchen Encounters. And again, it has gone exceptionally well!! The project included a major upgrade of the master bath and laundry room, updating the kitchen and tiling a hallway. Everything looks perfect! The tile work is impeccable. Countertops are beautiful. And the cabinets look perfect. Even the "little things" like the shower heads and faucets look amazing in all the spaces. They kept in contact with us daily, and addressed any questions promptly. The project in Sept. 2016 is the second time I have worked with Kitchen Encounters. They were as great the second time as the first. As project managers, David and Danelle take on coordination of everything from lining up the craftsmen to managing the vendors as they go in/out of my home. The vendors that they work with provide top quality work. The largest part of my project was installing new Brazilian Cherry flooring on the second floor and refinishing the same wood on the first floor. The finished floors are strikingly beautiful, bringing out the natural beauty of the wood! They also managed installation of top quality carpet (feels great under bare feet!) and painters. All provided exceptional work. There is good follow-up and check in throughout the project and excellent work as the project winds down to ensure top quality and satisfaction, i.e. touch-ups, etc. Highly recommend Kitchen Encounters!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our kitchen remodeling job than we are with KITCHEN ENCOUNTERS! From the day we set foot into their showroom to today (eight months after completion), quality of workmanship...attention to customer needs & details...and ease of operation rate especially high on our list of wishes fulfilled! Ours was a renovation from floor to ceiling---including major appliances, flooring, painting, lighting, cabinetry, backsplash, upgrades in electrical and plumbing work, etc. etc. Every step of the way, we were kept in the loop! The schedule worked out for us TO THE DAY, as far as completion of the project (despite a major snowstorm or two!). David was very sensitive to our concerns about living in chaos, and he completed all of the work within the agreed-upon schedule; despite a few surprises (Hurricane Sandy!) we were able to entertain for Christmas just as planned. During construction, Danelle contacted us frequently to keep us informed of times to expect arrivals, any changes to plans, and to address any questions or concerns we had. We are very happy with our new kitchen and we would use Kitchen Encounters again for future remodeling projects!
